Hôtel Restaurant Lido Beach

We come to eat at Le Lido every year (few years even more than 1 evening in a week) since summer 2020, because we love this place and the food. But this year, we have been really disappointed. 1) The waiter was in the rush since we arrived and it has been in this way the complete evening. It was a Thursday evening (20/07/2023) and in the past years we saw this restaurant with really more people during the week end without having this feeling of stress and rush. It is not a pleasure to eat in this way…. 2) We ordered 2 sprits ( with water and bread) as aperitive and the waiter asked also if we already knew our choices for food and we said as well our choices of starter and main dish. But, surprisingly the starters arrived before the sprits and the water and the bread. The excuse was because the barman was busy with other orders. If we pay 175 euro for a dinner for 2 people, at least I am expecting the correct order/timing of the drinks and the dishes, without excuses. Also because the starters arrived warm, like if they were waiting since a while or already prepared, and I suppose that the time required for a sprits is really less than to cook an octopus and/or vegetables. 2) the food was not hot and well served in the dishes/prepared as in the previous years. 3) paying 28 euro for 2 cold brochettes of sea bream I do not think is ok. I can understand that the gazpacho is a cold sauce, but the brochette should be hot. I mean at least warm… Looking on internet seems that the chef is the same of the previous years, but maybe the management of the restaurant/ waiters in the last year changed or decreased the quality… or we have been just unlucky. But for a dinner for this price (175 euro), the quality needs to be a must.
